Come join Scotts Valley Police at Malone’s Grille on Saturday April 14th from 11:30AM to 2:30PM, as your local law enforcement officers act as “Celebrity Waiters!”
Scotts Valley Police Officers assist the servers with beverage service, serving meals, setting tables, etc. to spread awareness and raise money for Special Olympics of Northern California.
Customers are asked to support the event by placing a special “tip” for Special Olympics in the envelope on their table.
Special Olympics is an international organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Special Olympics Northern California offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in Olympic-type sports at no cost to the athlete. Special Olympics Northern California grows by three athletes every day of the year. Just $250 gives one of our athletes the opportunity to compete for an entire year.
Scotts Valley Police will have one of their “Police in Pursuit” race cars on display. For more information contact Reserve Officer John Hohmann @ 831-252- 4187.
Our good friend Tyler Fockler was recently hospitalized for 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his face, arms, and legs.
He is a loving father and husband and he needs our help!
To easy the burden of his recovery time we are hosting a fundraiser for the Fockler family on the patio on April 5th at 5pm. Come support our friends and enjoy some live music and good food.
We will raise money through a silent auction and Malone’s will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Fockler’s to help in their road to normalcy.
If you would like to donate items to the auction please contact us via messenger.
We have 49er tickets already donated!

Vintage Point is a group of talented musicians who share the love of a well written song…then throw their wide range of experience into playing their interpretation for their audience.
What is it that makes a song “Vintage”? It can represent any number of the best bands material from decades’ past. That guitar riff that is instantly recognizable, that back beat that fills the dance floor, or chorus that reminds you of memories gone by. Every generation has “Vintage” sounding songs.
Of course, the love of classic rock comes to mind first. From the Beatles to Tom Petty, there is that common thread, literally, that ties the best bands and song writers together. But who were their influences? Who did they consider to be ageless from decades before they picked up that first instrument…. Maybe it was Etta James, Chuck Berry, or the Everly Brothers.
So, is the genre what makes a song “vintage”, or the year it was written, or the type of guitar that was used in the original recording?
Here is how we feel about our song choices. We want to play old and new classics that bring you back or maybe set you searching. We play music to dance to first, like CCR, Cheap Trick, Blondie, Marley… but also, to just listen, or sing along with… from Smokey Robinson, to Allman Brothers, to Dawes.

Grand Re-Opening & Ribbon Cutting Oct. 28th
Join us on October 26th as we celebrate the Grand Re-Opening and Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Malone’s Grille. This event is open to the entire community! Come enjoy complementary appetizers and beverages and check out their newly remodeled interior and outdoor patio with custom built fire pits.
Malone’s Grille was established in 1980 and has been a staple in the community ever since. In 2016, two local brothers Taylor and Ryan Fontana, bought the restaurant and transformed this iconic space into their own. The menu boasts of award winning craft burgers, hand cut steaks, 24 rotating draft beers and a creative, unique cocktail list. Using local vendors, Malone’s prides itself on serving only the finest freshest ingredients.
Malone’s Grille offers a comfortable and unpretentious atmosphere for everyone. Whether it’s a lunch with co-workers on the beautiful outdoor patio, an intimate dinner date, or hanging with friends by one of the custom-built fire pits, Malone’s Grille offers a unique experience for all.
The Fontana brothers are proud to be business owners in Scotts Valley and look forward to supporting the community for many years to come. They hope that Malone’s can bring everyone together for good times and even better memories.
Growing up in Santa Cruz, CA, cousins Sean and Kevin Eichhorn began jamming in local garages at age 10. Music was deeply rooted in their family and the thought of forming a group was inevitable. Influenced by the surf rock scene of Santa Cruz as well as many other musical genres and life experiences, they began to compose their own original music. Years later, while training for professional baseball Adrian and Kevin would reconnect and the band Soulwise was formed! In 2015 the group released their first EP "Talkin' Bout Love" that debuted at #12 on iTunes reggae releases. In 2015 and 2016 they supported Jamaican greats Don Carlos, Warrior King Jo Mersa Marley and also shared the stage with Josh Heinrichs and Skillinjah. The group is set to release their first full length album end of summer 2017!
